Discover the capital cities and unique treasures of Scandinavia and the Baltic states while visiting Copenhagen, Bergen, Oslo, Stockholm, Helsinki, Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius. This tour also includes Norway’s famous Nærøfjord and the scenic Flåm Railway.

Next it’s on to Odense for an included visit to the Hans Christian Andersen Museum, then Aalborg for an afternoon visit before boarding your overnight cruise to Bergen, Norway.  After some leisure time, continue on to Voss and Stalheim.  Enjoy a one-hour journey on the scenic Flam Railway, taking you past mountains, waterfalls, and fertile landscapes. 

Pause in Flam to have an independent lunch and explore the village shops or the railway museum. Board a fjord steamer for a two-hour cruise through the Aurlandsfjord, one of the most dramatic fjord trips in Europe.  From Borgund, begin your journey to Oslo where you will witness landmarks such as the Parliament building, Royal Palace, and Oslo City Hall with an included visit to the Vigeland Sculpture Park. 

Take in the beautiful scenery as you pass rich farmlands, pine forests, small towns and pristine lakes from Oslo to Stockholm.  A local guide will introduce you to Stockholm’s Old Town including the Royal Palace, Stockholm Cathedral and the Riddarholmen Church.  Transfer to Skansen, the world’s first open-air museum which is also home to the Stockholm Zoo.  Check-in for your overnight cruise to Helsinki, Finland which has a lavish buffet dinner, musical entertainment, shows and dancing. 

Upon disembarking, join your local guide to see the sights of Helsinki such as the Rock Church, Uspenski Cathedral, Senate Square and Helsinki Cathedral.  After Helsinki, it’s on to Tallinn, one of the best preserved medieval cities in Europe.  Riga is the capital of Latvia and boasts Riga castle, St. Peter’s Church, Dome Cathedral and an enormous Central Market. 

Your final stop on this adventure is Vilnius located within Lithuania.  A walking tour will provide valuable insight into the city’s history and culture amidst Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Neoclassical architecture.
